The Pima-Maricopa Irrigation Project is working on several miles of concrete lined open channel canal and a siphon within the urban limits of Sacaton. The utilities in the vicinity of the proposed siphon project need to be relocated. The utilities in the vicinity include Gila River Indian Community Department of Public Works potable water lines. This scope of work entails the relocations required for the construction within the permanent irrigation easement, as well as the removal and replacement of existing pavement, chain link fence, fittings, waterline and fire hydrants.
