Construction of approximately 10 miles of new water main (8” and 16” Directional drilling, 56,110 LF of 8”, 12” and 16” PVC) to replace existing undersized and/ or failing pipeline in GRIC District 4. This project was carried out to greatly improve the overall water system with increased water pressure and fire protection. Work included all required fittings, air release valve assemblies, fire hydrants, plugs and appurtenances, testing and approvals, as required by plans and specifications. Likewise, it included trenching, backfilling, compaction and testing, site clean-up, and corresponding demobilization.
