The work consisted of removal, repair, and replacement of an approximately 305-foot long siphon damaged in the September 2013 flooding with a 496-foot long dual 24-inch and 12-inch inverted siphon under the St. Vrain Creek. The demolition work included: removing the old dual 24-inch and 12-inch inverted siphon encased in concrete, removing the collapsed manhole, and removing any remaining pipe where new pipe was installed. New items installed were: a new dual pipe inverted siphon, new manholes, 450 lineal feet of 30-inch gravity sanitary sewer interceptor and trench-less sewer lines.
