The Switzer Canyon project for The City of Flagstaff is a new transmission main comprised mainly of 4,500 linear feet of 20-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP). This project goes through town and requires extensive coordination with the city for traffic control and planned outages. Flagstaff is at over 7000 feet of elevation, the terrain is steep, and there are rock and hard dig locations on this job site.
