The scope of work included the construction of one direct injection recharge well along with all piping at the Ken McDonald Golf Course. The work consisted of piping, piping building enclosure, extension of a water line to the well, flow control valves, air gap, well pump, well disinfection provisions, flow meter, pressure indicators, electrical equipment and instrumentation needed for monitoring and control of recharge and well pumping operations. For the specific Well Equipment process, all materials, equipment, and labor for installation of equipment in the existing recharge well casing were provided. In addition, the work included: cutting of top of existing well casing to accommodate a pit-less adapter, installation of pit-less adapter, installation of a pump column, installation of a variable-orifice flow-control valve and associated control tubing, installation of a check valve, installation of a well pump and associated down-well electrical wiring for pump, and installation of down-well wiring for level transducer. An additional item on this project included the construction of a 10-inch GW Recharge Supply piping between the pit-less adapter and Recharge Well No.1.
